Chip Swap Instructions

I would appreciate it if someone could point me to the disassembly and chip swap instructions for the e260 V1.

A search gave me a lot of hits, but nothing about the “How To”  for doing it.

Thanks

How’s this for timing?  There’s a new posthere (images are fuzzy but will suffice).

Thank Bob.  Greatly appreciated!!!

sorry, images were taken at the office (where it stopped working) on a cheap solid-state camcorder.

do all the e200 chips swap?  I’ve only done swaps with the 8 and 6GB (both V1’s)

You can swap all v1 chips. So you can swap the 2gb,4gb,6gb,and 8gb memory if they are v1’s.Thanks

The v2 memory is on the “motherboard.” No swapping there.

Yep, swapping chips on a v2 would require a Leister with the chip-popper attachment.  That wouldn’t make sense, a $4000 tool to swap a memory chip.  V1s do have the benefit of a socket!
