SanDiskSecureAccessV3_mac quit unexpectedly (refuses to start)

The instructions for "DownloadSanDiskSecureAccess_Mac say, “minimum system requirements are:  Mac OSX V 10.6+.”

My MAC is running MacOS 10.6.8, so it should work.

But when I install SanDiskSecureAccessV3_mac on my SanDisk Ultra USB 3.0 256GB flash drive (per instructions) and then launch the program from the flash drive, I always get this Mac Problem Report:

“SanDiskSecureAccessV3_mac quit unexpectedly.”  The following info is provided in the report:

Exception Type: EXC_BAD_ACCESS (SIGSEGV)

Has anyone else had this problem?

I think that the fault was because despite the published web page instructions claiming that SanDisk SecureAccessV3_Mac was compatible with OSX 10.6.8, SanDisk subsequently released SecureAccessV3.1_Mac which is No Longer compatible with OSX 10.6.8.

Instead of clarifying this in their web page instructions, and/or providing a user choice to download either version, they just redirected the download page’s download button to download V3.1_Mac, taking away the ability to download V3_Mac.

I emailed SanDisk Tech Support, asking where/how I could download version 3.0.

Several weeks passed without any esponse.
