04-20-2015 12:34 AM Hello,
as far as i know you can use any available flash drive with Windows ready boost. but also i know that Sandisk does not recommend this usage due to the fact that the flash drive will wear out in a very short timeframe and it can be that you will lose data.
so i suggest using the drive as a normal storage device.
Good Luck

i dont know if you can find any official statement from Sandisk about it but if you want official information i would suggest to contact sandisk direct to provide you the exact statement about this so you are covered.

How short a timeframe are you referring to; days, weeks, years?

04-28-2015 03:41 AM Hello,
in that case i cannot tell if it will last for days or years because of course it depends of the usage it will get from the ready boost. if you use it daily for many hours of course the flash drive will wear out in some weeks but if you use it one time per day for 10 minutes it can last for years also.
so the more you use the drive the faster it will wear out.
Good Luck

Weeks!! I find that hard to believe of a modern device.
But what if it causes the drive to become read only!!
