Thanks for trying to help, but

  1. Launchpad Removal is for U3 flash drives and SanDisk doesn’t make them anymore.

  2. The U3 Removal process formats the drive as a single drive so there is no need to reformat it.

(btw and fwiw I had a dog named Spitnik, when I was a teenager.)
