New IPAd Pro with USB

My Setup is:

  • new IPAD Pro with IOS 12

  • Apple Adapter from USB-C to USB

  • Ixpand drive Software version 5.0.6

When connecting the ixpand drive, it opens automatically the Foto App. The IXPand App will not open.

If i manually open the IXpand App, the Ixpand drive is not recognized.

This is not related to IOS 12, because with an IPAD Air 2 tge Drive and the IXPand App work perfectly.

Is there any solution, to open the App when connecting the drive with USB

Unfortunately no solution. I just want to say that I have exactly the same problem
