Issues with Vault on SanDisk Cruzer Glide - 128 GB

I started putting files in the Vault on my new flash drive today and it accepted them at the beginning but eventually provided the following error message:

Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library

This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.

Please contact the application’s support team for more information.

Are there some types of files that can’t be encrypted? Any idea what might be going on here? I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the Vault software on the first flash drive, but that didn’t fix it.

What am I doing wrong?

Hard to say, but not every file needs to be secured.  Try putting some on the drive without using SecureAccess.

Due to the nature of the content - yes, every file needs to be secured.  This flash drive is being used to store sensative legal information/data by our Corporate legal team.

OK.

Do note that the Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library files are specific to the machine the drive is plugged into.  So running the Glide on Windows 10 might work but not on Windows Vista, or visa versa.

What happens to these legal files if the flash drive is lost?

At this time, I’m only concerned with the issue stated in my original post.

Do note my edited posting.  We cross posted.
