I haven’t found a way to do background copies to my new USB drives. I use XCOPY from a batch file to copy key folders to my OLD USB drives which use SANDISK U3 security. XCOPY allows for copying ONLY the files which have changed in the folder.
Is it possible to use the new security and replace only “CHANGED” files in an encrypted folder?
as an alternative, Can I get rid of all the new files and security and install the SANDISK U3 security to my NEW drives?
Thanks Ed - I responded to a survey from SANDISK. I like the encryption technique for a FEW files that require that type of protection. I think SANDISK is missing the boat by not providing the capability to password protect the entire flash drive so files can be “protected” somewhat without spending hours encrypting.
