I was having an issue with windows reconizing the ssd drive and went through all the steps that where in theses threads. I erased registreys and also trouble shot device managemant. I did it for about three hours. As simmple as this may seem injust switched the usb-c that it came with for another one and it worked. If any one is having the same issue try it. It might have been the adapters it came with. Good luck
