this is a documented issue all over the MAC forums as well as a post on this forum as well. It seems this is a compatibility issue with the Nvidia MCP79 chipset and sanforce controllers. Currently there is no work around for sandisk drives. The issue has been reported and sandisk engineering is working with LSI Sandforce on a possible fix. We do not know if or when a fix would be released.
