That happened me twice.
If Windows says it’ s going to start check-disk at startup and finish the checkdisk then after the reboot ExpressCache flushes the cache…
And it’ s not because of an unexpected power loss or forced shut down.
If Windows is asking to run chkdsk at startup then something happened with the HDD causing Windows to verify the disk. If this occurs the cache is set to invalid and will be flushed.
