x300s unable to boot after installation

Hi folks,

i purcheased a brand new x300s from our distributor.

After installing Windows8.1 Pro the system simply won’t boot

An error shows up:

“BOOTMGR is corrupt … yadayada”

Any ideas how to make things work ?

I know this is OEM and not retail but maybe someone was or is experiencing the the same issue

is this a fresh install or a clone? if this is a clone have you tried a fresh install? You can use the installation disk and the diskpart commands to clear the partitions and start over.
