Windows cannot access

Hi,

After loading a whole lot of files into the vault on my flash drive, when i went back to it days later to access them, a message came up when i click on the vault icon saying - ‘Windows cannot access the specified device, path or file. You may not have the appropriate persmission to access the item.’ I can open anything on the flash drive not in the vault.

Any thoughts - I am stumped!
