Win7 firmware for WD1600

I’ve been using my WD1600 just fine on my older WINXP system.   I just upgraded to Win7 and the OS does not recognize the drive.  I see many forum entries (at other sites) saying I need to upgrade my firmware but I cannot figure out the best fit for me.

Help.

First did you check in Disk Management to see if the drive is there and has a drive letter assigned?

Yes I did - and it is not recognized.

When I connect the USB cable, an error messge box pops up saying the drive is not recognized - upgrade firmware.

Can someone please point me to the appropriate firmware for my WD1600 on Windows7?
