Will there be an updated SMC to supprt Windows 7 Media Center and the new format/extension?

Doubtful, but you never know. The latest word we had was that they (SanDisk) was looking for a way to update the firmware so SMC would not be needed at all to convert videos, but that statement is several months old now.
