Will there be a Choise to Select Which Drive Should be Cached in next Software Update?

Hi there;

All i want to know is will there be a choise to select which drive should be cached in next software update?

If it is gonna happen, when?

Thanks.

It looks Sandisk doesn’t like that feature so don’t hold your breath.

Really sad cause it’s crucial in some scenarios…

BUT you can always use the ECcmd.exe undocumented and unsupported command line switch!

ECCmd -EXCLUDE [DriveLetter]

Simply go to tour expresscache folder (eg. C:\Program Files\Condusiv Technologies\ExpressCache).

If it works you will not get an error exit code.

Sadly you can’t get a list of excluded drives so I suggest you to remember to exclude again the drives every time you upgrade the software.

Thanks for info. It can be really crucial in most scenarios.

For example i bought this driver for caching only my windows and games (these two are in seperated drivers, C and D), but it caches everything (includes my torrent files) which is in F,G,H.

I’ ll give your command a try.

Thanks again.

Edit:

It seems worked right now, but i can’ t be sure :slight_smile:
