Will the fuze be able to suppot more photo formats?

Will the fuze be able to supprot more photo formats, like Gif,and png?

I have not heard any spesifics, but I wouldnt hold my breath. Those files are movable pictures, not stills, which would actually play more like a video, so I dont expect them to be made avalible.

Only a Sandisk representative could really answer that.  Gif is starting to show it’s age, being introduced by Compuserve in 1987… and it has the lowest compression ratios of all the “internet” based formats.

Png is another story.  More and more programs and devices are supporting the format and has good and lossless compression.  Png is a static image standard only, so it would be a good candidate to be added to the fuze.  The off-shoot  mng and apng support animation and aren’t widely used yet, so support for those formats would be questionable.
