Will I get a pop-up message (notification) for degraded RAID?

What do I need to do to get a popup message (notification) on my screen if a RAIDed disk fails on my My Book Duo 20tb? It’s located out of sight, so I might not see the LED change color.

I have “WDDriveUtilityHelper” in my Login Items. Is that related/necessary?

Hi Reversible,

You can get notification from My Cloud dashboard on getting RAID degrade and also My Cloud device will show red LED status on this event.
WD Drive Utility is used to show the health of RAID storage in My Cloud device.

Thanks for the answer! But this is a My Book Duo, not a My Cloud device. Can I still use My Cloud Dashboard? If not, how do I get failure notifications on my computer screen?
