I went to change my drive unlock password, to a more current password, so it’s easier to remember. But, the “set up drive” box is greyed out in the drive settings, so I can’t click on it, to change my password. Why would it be greyed out, when I already unlocked My Passport external HDD? Thanks.
It would depend on the generation of your WD My Passport portable hard drive. Newer units do not work with the WD SmartWare drive settings section and instead use a dedicated application called WD Drive Utilities.
