I have suffered two unexpected power failures in two weeks. In both cases the 10 month old MyBook 6 terabyte drive on my iMac failed to show up after the restart for better than 10 minutes. I was not around when it decided to come back, so I can’t pin down the time any better than that. What’s the deal? Is it on the verge of failure or what? I’d hate to loose it. The computer and all it’s peripherals are on a super fast device protector, so it’s not suffered any surges. The other external MyBooks come back online promptly when called for by the iMac restart. What’s happening!
