Woke up this morning to find that my 2MB Fuze that had been on the AC charger all night had a white screen and did not charge. Attempted to connect to my laptop and it is not connecting so I can not charge or update firmware. Did try the soft reset and formatted from the player but it no joy. Any help would be appreciated.

I’m afraid to disappoint you but it looks like it is dead. A charger could have caused that easily. This is one of the hazards of charging via cheap Chinese uncertified wall chargers- their controllers do not regulate the constancy of charge as they should.
