What is "@0" .jpeg or .tiff

Gang,

When I move images &c from the orig saved discs onto my MyBook things are the same as on the disc. ie: xxxx.jpeg or xxxx.tifff

When items are saved from my laptop EVERYTHING gets this ‘@0’ ie: xxxx@0.jpeg or xxxx@0.tifff

Is this required by the WD My Book OS?

I don’t remember this on my previous WD My Book.

It has been a bit of a hassle for those times I work off / move items from My Book, it disspears when I save W/O @0, removed.

Feed-back appreciated to help this slow learner.

Weird, that doesn’t happen in my case so it could be something that your laptop is doing.

If it something on my laptop, someone hopefully will be able to point me to where/how to address this.
