I can hardly read the print on the case. It looks like ( wd100000h1c8 ). 

I am using it with Protools and Protools says that the transfer is not fast enough. The properties says wd my Book ieee 1394 sbp2.

can this take a 1394a ( 800)?

I think you have this drive, and if you do then it doesn’t support FW 800.
