Pref. i have many external HD from WD and ALL of they have WD Smartware, very helpful for me (i use the password for them !)

i bought from amazon this hd : WDBUZG0010BBK-EESN

I MUST use it with MAC & WIN XP = i format it with FAT32FORMAT (using Win XP)
2a) BEFORE format i look in the HD, that is arrived me formatted NTFS, and THERE WAS NOTHING in it ( = no software)
- NOW i look in WD web place, searching Smartware for this HD and … the answer is ‘There is currently no download (software, firmware, or driver) available for this product.’
!!!
