WDBACX0010BBK - Can't access one of the folders

I have one folder just suddenly won’t open anymore.  Instead, I get a message I need to format the disk before I can use it. 

With the exception of this one not opening, all folder are fine.  I am pretty sure the files still exist as when I do the virus scan of such folder, the number of files being scanned are still there.  I already tried re-installing the drive as welll as sharing the drive but did not work

Please help.

The folder is corrupted.

There are many threads on the community that discuss this type of issues.

Try using a recovery software in order to repair the file if possible and then reformat and test the drive.
