Hello,
My external WD hard drive has stopped working.
I believed either the plug or the unit overheated as the electrical plug has a burnt type smell. When j open the plug using the clip, there was what I can only describe as sweat, perhaps formed as condensation after the plug overheated.
When the unit is plugged in, the WD hard drive appears to be blinking blue rapidly.
I assume either I need to replace the plug or the power unit inside the device no longer works.
If its the plug, where can I get another? Always prefer to get a proper WD one than a cheap one off amazon or ebay…
