WD External and Portable SSD Portable SSD

Hi folks,Iam new and need help with my Ext HD.My XP detects my HD,but no icon,displays only 3-4 files,rest is not displayed as i have 232gb of data.what seems to be the problem.even the sys volume info folder is not displayed.pls advice
