WD unlocker is not working on W10. Is there an updated on this software?
Which is the latest version?

If not there is an alternative?

Hello, If you are talking about the WD Security, there is an update that should work on the Windows 10, other than that would be to remove the security all together from a Windows 7 or 8.1.

Hi

i’m talking about the standalone software that is loaded on the external hdd.
It starting when the hdd is connected and after inserting the password unlock the HDD.
The WD security is a software that need to be installed on windows.

Hi, ok I see, now you might want to try to perform a firmware update with the universal firmware updater for your drive. However the WD Unlocker from the drive should be working fine, are you experiencing any issues?

Firmware update not available for “My Passport Ultra Metal Edition”. Only on Win 10 WD unlocker is not working well, for example if i want lock the drive after that i unlocked is not working. i cannot lock the drive. To do this i have to disconnect the drive and then reconnect.
