It would be nice to be able to use Spotify with the WD Android remote without turning on the TV.
Ah ah ha. This idea is great. But the fact is hard. I can’t even directly use Spotify on WD TV, let alone the use of Spotify with a remote. Up to now, I just use a lossless Spotify downloader to locally download Spotify songs to copy-free audio files, and then I get access to use Spotify on WD TV offline.
Is it possible to use a Spotify music downloader to download Spotify music then import the songs to WD TV? So that can use Spotify with Android remote without turning on the TV?
