I had my Mybook Duo 6TB backing up to dropbox via WD Smartware Pro and recently it will no longer sync. I read some posts on WD saying how Smartware is no longer available for that and you now have to use WD Backup.
So I downloaded WD Backup and tried to select Dropbox as the back up destination and then selected the external drive (Mybook Duo) as the backup source. It pops up a box saying “could not create backup plan”.
Is WD Backup not meant to backup your external hardrive to dropbox? If not, what do I need to help me do this?
