I never bought one stuff with so many problems as MY Passport:

1st:  the TABs Backup and Restore were not available. After install, remove, reinstall, download new versions and had a LOT of problems was able to access those tabs

2 nd: I can’t see even 50% of my directories in the drive C.

3 rd: Also the firmware upgrade does not work.

Consulting the support area and the WD Community I can see many users desperate like me with no response to their problems.

I gave up to use the software and I’m doing the backup manually.

This is really very, very bad.

Even the registration screen in the WD Drive Utilities doesn’t work

There are many other options for backup like Windows Backup

the backup and retrieve will be greyed until you activate the backup by clicking the drive on the home tab

this has been discussed a lot in the community
