i have an iphone 6 plus and use the WD PHOTOS and I loved it!!!..until an OS update…to OS9. now I get Minimal thumbnails and no actual photos are observable. When I go to a folder and look all I see is a rotating icon like it is searching or updating. Ive deleted the app and reinstalled it and increased the cache size in My Cloud but no help.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. BTW I have several folders and 23,000 photos
Not sure what version of wd photos i have. It is the latest on apple apps. Just updates the OS to 9.1
The app is now updating photos so it might have fixed it… Not sure yet
Any advice?
Thanks for asking but still only hsve minimal thumbnails and no photos in public folder.
I have a few photos in my folder but csnt see thumbnails or photos in public. I made sure in setup on the pc allows access to public folder …
Any ideas?
The tech tried everything and finally decided to try a full reset. Im not at my desktop so i cant recall the xact screen on the dashboard but there are two resets if i remember correctly. One wipes out the data the other justs resets the Cloud. It fixed my problem.
Hope it fixes yours
For those of you that are having the same problem, this should work for you. First, in the user interface, go to Settings. Then, under System Factory Restore, select System Only. Depending on the size of your library, this can take many hours. My library is 35,000+ and probably took 18 hours or so. Loading of the thumbnails can take even longer. But it appears to have fixed my problem.
