WD passprt 2 terabite

WD External and Portable SSD External SSD for macOS

have a Hard drive that lights up and make noise  but is not working  restarted tryed the only usb ports i have its for a mac Air new  was unplugged a couple times with out ejecting   works yesterday and not today might also have been dropped  not sure 

Has very important data on it   any one help

I’ll recommend you to test the unit on a different computer if possible. 

Also check on the Mac utilities to see if the drive is showing there.
