WD Passport Multiple Issues

I have a WD Passport.

Something has my External Hard Drive Spooked. So, I decided to format it and start over from jump street. After formatting, the only option that would work so that I could access the drive was to select exFat and then perform the formatting process. When I would leave it as NTSF(Default), the format function would cease to perform the formatting function. So, it left me with the only other option available.

When I use the Drive Utilities, Drive Erase function, I get an error message that says, “There has been an error erasing your drive.” It basically prohibits me from completing the Drive Erase function. How can I resolve this so that I can securely erase its contents and any corrupt baggage that may be lurking within?

Next, while in the Drive Utilities, Diagnose section, when I select the function to Run Complete Drive Test, it processes up to 10% and then just remains there without changing. While waiting for this task to complete, it also errors out leaving the Drive Test incomplete. How do I resolve this?

Next, I was constantly having Driver Error Messages saying that it needs to be fixed. While following along with the dialog and selecting to scan the drive for errors, it always comes back with a no errors detected message. Why did it say that it needed to be fixed if it says that there were no errors?

Next, while in the same section as in my previous sentence, it will sometimes say that it needs to be repaired and so I select that option and it completes with a no errors found, etc. What could be the cause of these error/fix messages and how can I correct this problem?

Now, why in the actual flying firetruck would the Volume Name “My Passport”, keep being regenerated after I choose a new name for it. The new name will void itself out and reiderate the “My Passport” generic title. How do you make this ■■■■ thing remain after closing out the dialog box?

This thing is stressing me out. Anyone have any ideas as to what in the Holy Hanible Lecter’s Ghost, as to how I can relieve these issues? I have tried the Properties/Tools/Error Checking option and it remains the same.

I have the most up to date drivers installed so I know that is not the issue.
WD Backup_1.9.7435.38388-08/24/2020

Actually, now that I have taken a look at it, the Properties/Hardware/WD MyPassport25E1 USB Device/Properties/Driver - It shows a Driver Version of 10.0.19041.789! My updated drivers were installed properly, but for some reason, it is not recognized @ the Driver section. What can I do to resolve this issue? I know that the backup utility drivers are no longer supported, so can that be the issue regarding everything that has malfunctioned on me?

Everything was fine up to about two weeks ago, then the ■■■■ hit the fan. My drive kept saying that it was offline. I would get messages about how the Recycle Bin was corrupted and would I like to purge myself of this issue. Hence the whole reason behind me formatting this ■■■■ thing.

Solutions please & thank you. I greatly appreciate it.

Edit: ■■■■ ■■■■ ■■■■ ■■■■ ■■■■ ■■■■ Looks likeTetris.
