WD not accessible

Dear Friends

This morning I had dropped my WD passport (350GB on Smartware) on floor and when I connected I am not getting the log on access window and the drive is not being recognized.

Pls suggest a remedy as I have important data on it and do not wish to loose.

You are probably out of luck. It’s doubtful you can get data back without a data recovery service, expensive. It’s not a good idea to trust important data to one physical HD internal or external.

Yes I agree but not being aware it can go wrong this way I had my precious data on it and dont know how am i gonna manage.

U suggested data recovery… pls let me knwo whom I can approach so that I get some asisstance

I don’t know who does data recovery but it will be really expensive. I saw one post complain that the starting price was $695 US dollars. Customer service may be able to recomend somebody in your area.
