Hi, I have a problem with my HD WD, when I connect it to my Lap or any other lap, just get the side light turned on and steady, but never tilts, and never feel like the disk spins up, therfore disk it´s not reconigzed, Lap never detect it. Can you help me?, what can I do?
Hi, be sure to connect the Passport directly to the PC/Laptop with the cable that came bundled or one of the same length, longer USB cables might not provide enough power for the Passport to work correctly.
Thanks, I´ve tried already with another cable, and conecting to another Laptop, but it´s the same, My disk it´s not reconigzed, let me tell hd just starts spininig but after 20 o 30 secs. it got stopped and nothing else happens. Do you know if there is a kind of workarround to try fixing my passport.
Unfortunately the Passport appear to be faulty, to replace it you can follow the steps from the link bellow.
