I have this kind of WD My Book Studio WDH2Q40000. I don’t know what happened but I erased it the other day to use it as a third back up of some files (I’m a video editor and have 10 of these things). This particular one though won’t mount anymore BUT shows up in Disk Utility. I try to erase it again and it won’t work. Is there something I’m missing. It’s out of warranty so it really stinks because I probably spent like $500 on it forever ago. PLEASE HELP ME. It just blinks over and over and doesn’t do anything. Does anyone have a solution??
Yup, same situation. I have found I may need to do data recovery.
