WD hard drive is not loaded on the computer

hello,

I have a WD external hard drive when I connect it to my computer. The computer detects a new device, creates a new drive partition on my computer (E), the light on the drive is on, but the data is not loaded and I can not open the drive and access the information inside it.

Of course I tried several computers and the result is the same.
I also tried using a new data cable, the same result.


Does anyone know how to help?

Are you using WD backup? If not go to downloads and get it.

Hi, I have tried all below:
Device Details: WD My Passport
P/N: WDBY8L0020BSL-01

  1. Operating System: Windows 7, 64 Bit
  2. Installed WD SES Device Driver for 64 Bit.
  3. Drive get detected and it does show D drive
  4. Device Manager doesn’t have any error for WD SES Driver.
  5. Disk Management does show the HDD and Drive.
  6. But LED is blinking continuously and when try to access drive D. It hangs everything on computer.
  7. It doesn’t show anything and once I remove cable. Desktop become normal.
  8. Change cable, used multiple computer, updated the driver even used Backup WD application.
