WD Elements Writing Permission in MAC Sierra 10.12.5

I purchased this WD Elements 3TB yesterday.
I formatted it using MAC Disc Utility (‘MAC OS Extended Journal’ option)
I then copied Torrents from my HD. Since I have read&write permissions, no problem, they were copied.

Today, I tried to download a torrent directly into my Elements, but a prompt appeared indicating that “I do not have writing permissions to the volume”!
I restarted the computer, NO CHANGE!
I cleaned the external drive and re-formatted it, NO CHANGE!
I then revised all options following Finder>Get Info> unlock>enter admin password>apply to enclosed items > uncheck “ignore ownership on this volume” box, and, the permission, as it was before, shows = you have read and write permission.
Admin, myself have read and write permissions.
Then tried the download but unfortunately NO CHANGE! I still DO NOT HAVE WRITING PERMISSION.

Can you please help me to solve this problem? Thank you in advance for your help

Sincerely,
Observingall

Hello there,

What happens if you try to copy a file manually to the drive from the computer?

That works perfectly fine…
