Can anyone recommend an appropriate fan to attach to the fanless case for our new WD Elements 6TB drive? Thanks in advance.

A Quiet one.
You shouldn’t need a fan as long as you have the drive standing up and not laying flat on a surface.
None of the several WD Elements i own ever get so hot they need additional cooling.
Anyways, if you do want to get a fan, the 1st thing you need to decide is how you’re gonna power it. The 2 common types are 12V and 5V (5V being easier as you could power it from a spare USB port if you have one.) … 12V requires an AC Adaptor to provide power.
