Just bought my WD Elements drive brand new, after only 1 use it seems to not work. The light does not show up, but when I plug in the drive, the computer screen sorta flashes.

I recommend you try plugging the drive into another USB port or another computer, also if possible try replacing the USB cable just as a troubleshooting step.
