WD Elements (16tb) - random read/write speeds normal?

Hi All

Just wondering what other high capacity WD Elements owners are seeing for random read/write speeds over USB 3.1?

Using CrystalDiskMark on PC I’m getting 1.23MB/s read and 4.38MB/s write

Using AmorphousDiskMark on Mac I’m getting 0.75MB/s read and 4.24MB/s write

These appear unusually slow to me.

Wondering if I should return this drive or not?

Any comparisons would be appreciated

To anyone else with performance anxiety (ahem), I’ve had feedback elsewhere confirming that these speeds are normal for a large external mechanical/spinning drive.
