After hours of searching through web pages, I have struggled to find the solution. i have formatted the drive to be exFat using a windows computer (which successfully recognised the drive). The drive is detected on the WD discovery app giving no other information besides the drive name. Disk utility has also not shown anything related to the drive.
Any help would be appreciated!
OOps I should say its is a 1Tb Elements USB portable drive
I have the same problem - I upgraded the MacOS and I can see the drive name in my list and in my storage but when i open it - there is a list of folders but none of my files and there is LOADS of data on it I need to retrieve. Helpppppp
