I have two SN850s that are supposed to have the customizable RGB feature. However, since they are in a RAID 0 the software only sees them as Array 1 instead of SN850. Therefore there is no RGB tab in the dashboard software. That is no good.
If you are experiencing an issue with the RGB lighting on your WD_Black SN850 SSD, there are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot and resolve the issue:
- Check the compatibility: Make sure that the WD_Black SN850 SSD is compatible with the RGB software or controller you are using. Check the manufacturer’s website or documentation to ensure compatibility.
- Update the firmware: Check if there is a firmware update available for your WD_Black SN850 SSD. If there is, download and install it, as it may help resolve any compatibility issues or bugs related to the RGB lighting.
- Check the RGB connections: Ensure that all RGB connections are properly seated and connected. If there are any loose or disconnected connections, the RGB lighting may not function correctly.
- Check the RGB settings: Ensure that the RGB settings in the software or controller are set correctly. Make sure that the correct RGB profile is selected and that the lighting is enabled.
- Contact WD_Black Support: If none of the above steps resolve the issue, you may want to contact WD_Black support for further assistance. They may be able to help you diagnose and fix the issue or offer a replacement if necessary
