I’m trying to backup printer profiles that are in the c:/windows/system32/spool directory. WD Backup however does not give me the c:/windows directory despite me having administrator privilege over it and the directory being available to me in Windows explorer. What am I doing wrong?

Thanks for this. I didn’t know that WDBackup was no longer supported. Did I miss out on an announcement? I can’t see me using Acronis because of the unusual format it uses. WDBackup was fine in backing up in the native format of whatever was being backed up.

Maybe you want to try DRIVE SNAPSHOT. It has a trial periode (for backing up) but you can always download a new version ![]()
Btw. You can mount the images and can access them via explorer and so on.
