WD app for ipad

Hi, I managed to get the WD app working on my Ipad (1) but then had to reset my Ipad which deleted the apps.  I noted in the app store that the WD app had recently been updated (December 2013).  On attempting to download this app onto my Ipad, it requests OS version 6 (which my ipad1 does not have nor can I get it for this Ipad).

The result is that I cannot load the wd app onto my ipad and therefore cannot access my drive.

Is there the previous version of this app anywhere??

Hi simmynut, what is the name of the app that are you trying to download? And what is the iOS version installed on your iPad.

Hi, 

The app is “WD My Cloud” and my OS version is 5.1.1.  The app requires 6.0 and so does not download

Any help?
