WD Anywhere Backup problems backing up from MacBook Pro to My Book Studio Edition II

Hi there

A few weeks ago I was having troubles with my My Book Studio Edition II, and I managed to delete all the files on it… Hurray for me

Now, luckily I had another external HD with most of my files backed up, and now I’m trying to setup a new backup plan from my MacBook Pro to my MB SE II. Now, there are about 350 GB of files on my computer, but WD Anywhere Backup says only 270 GB is eligible to be backed-up.

Trying to backup also learned me that it takes several days and it seems as if the process stops on a certain moment, and that it won’t continue, but there aren’t any error messages or…

Anyone who knows what to do?

Best regards

Bob

I would rather set a Time Machine backup if it’s a new plan

TM is designed to work on Macs and will backup all files

Can I start a 2nd backup plan like that? So that I can run a backup-plan to my Time Capsule and another one to my WD My Book?
