WD 1 TB Poratble HDD stucks

Hi

I have bought WD 1 TB portable HDD one month back. It’s stucks while navigating files or playing audios or videos in TV(New SONY LED TV 32 inch). That time TV also not responding. No option is working in TV. After unplug the HDD only TV is working fine. 

But when I have checked with another HDD with same files, my TV is playing all the files and working fine without any issue. 

Model Number : WDBUZG0010BBK.

Kindly provide a solution. I’m totally disappointed due to this problem.

Hi,

I have taken WD Lifeguard diagnostics for windows test also.It passess. After that I have formtted the HDD. But after that my TV not even recognize the HDD. But when I connect any other HDD with my TV,It works fine.

Is it possible to reformat the drive to see if you get the same issues again on the tv?
