From last 2 days, whenever I pluged my drive to my laptop or any other system it take longer to detect and after 4-5 minutes it started making a noice like “chik-chik” I don’t know what and why it happen. But can anyone please guide me how can I resolve this issue. I will be very grate full tou you.

Clicking sound means drive have hardware malfunction or hardware failure usually Read/write heads of the drive get damage, don’t give power to drive bad Read/write heads can damage platters, if you have valuable Data contact Data Recovery experts , unfortunately it’s not DIY project.
