The audio appears to “skip” incessantly when increasing the volume level past 50-60%. Is my 2GB Fuze defective?
I called Sandisk support who told me that the radio can’t “skip” after I prefaced my description of the problem with, “I know the audio can’t skip but it sounds like a skipping noise when I increase the volume as the sound cuts out and resumes and cuts out and resumes repeatedly.” This is why I put skip in quotes…I’m aware the radio doesn’t skip…ty.
i just bought the 2 gig Fuze and had the same issue. what i discovered was I didn’t have the headphone jack in completely. so when it happens make sure the jack is all the way in.
