When starting up the voice recorder automatically starts recording. This started after an update was installed. model:e250v2
The v2 has the option to set recording activation (via the button) to different modes. It can be turned off, set to activate when pressed, or to ask before recording.
Be sure that the button isn’t mechanically stuck. With the device off, lightly test the button to see if you can feel the microswitch operating.
